“Received the book on Sunday and finished it this morning.  I loved the concept.  I just wish there was more.  I finished wanting more.  More suspense and more of Kate Donnelly.  But I absolutely loved it and cannot wait for book #2." Jenn Smith

"As a 28 year genealogist and family historian and a longer time reader of mysteries, I definitely enjoyed this book.
It should be noted that even a non genealogist would enjoy this mystery.  Lorine McGinnis Schulze has produced a great first time mystery book and I am looking forward to future Janie Riley stories." Mrs. J. Scannell

Death Finds a Way

As an avid reader of mystery novels, it is refreshing to find a new series with a unique protagonist, Janie Riley. As well as being treated to a good story, I learned a great deal about genealogy. Genealogists truly are master detectives. I'm looking forward to the next in the series.(Dill Books)

The story nicely blends a mystery from the past, uncovered by a fellow genealogist, with a modern day murder. Several clues, mixed with cleverly placed red herrings keep you guessing and re-guessing as you try to figure out “who dunnit”. In all, this was a short but fun read.(Risa Z.)

I loved this book and couldn't put it down! Stayed up quite late to finish it and can't wait for the next one in the series. (Helena M.)
I just finished reading "Death Finds a Way". Really enjoyable. Great book. I hope that there will be more. (Anne Currie O'Brien)
"I think the author did a phenomenal job with her first book. I hope the next book is longer so I can stay in Janie's world a little longer. She is a great character and I really came to be fond of Janie over the course of the book. Reading this book was like curling up on the couch with a good friend. I look forward to the next..." (Shani M.)
I loved this book. Since I am a genealogist, I enjoyed hearing about her techniques and places for finding information and following her thought processes. (Nancy P.)
Lorine McGinnis Schulze's new murder mystery novel is a very interesting story that blends the past with the present and leaves readers wondering who did it!  It was fascinating to have a glimpse into the world of genealogists and how they use their expertise and knowledge in search of people from generations ago. Heroine Janie Riley demonstrates her savvy in solving crimes that almost went unpunished and escaped detection. Congratulations Lorine on your first novel and for a satisfying read! (N. Spiker)
I really enjoyed following a genealogist doing her research/detecting. Who would have thought it would becoming dangerous?! I can't wait to read more Janie Riley mysteries. (D. Bobo)
Perfect summer read! Loved the characters and can't wait to see what happens in the next book! (B.)
